Settlement Tanks

Pollution Control offers a range of Settlement Tanks including Lamella Plate Clarifiers. Due to the compact design of an inclined Lamella plate based system up to 90% less footprint is required when compared to traditional settlement tanks. They can be used in Primary or Tertiary stages for the removal of suspended solids and settleable matter of Wastewater, Industrial Effluents, Raw water and on Construction Sites. Additional flocculation/mixing and sludge thickening systems can be incorporated.

Groundhog Agricultural

Pollution Control manufactures a wide range of slurry handling equipment for the Agricultural industry with our ‘Groundhog’ slurry separation and umbilical Systems. For over four decades we have been committed to supplying quality product at affordable prices, winning numerous awards for design and innovation through our policy of continuous research and development.

Hose Handling

Pollution Control design and manufacture a range of hose handling equipment including Hose Reelers, Hose Flaking Systems and Hose Ramps. They are all designed to facilitate safe, and efficient storage, transportation, deployment and retrieval of rigid and layflat hoses.

The business divisions at Pollution Control (UK) Ltd are quite diverse but between them we can offer a wide-ranging service to our customers.

We operate in sectors including municipal, commercial, agricultural, industrial and domestic. With over 35 years of manufacturing and engineering design expertise, we pride ourselves on being innovative, adaptable and most of all reliable.

Since we formed as a company we have been at the forefront of Wastewater Treatment technology, initially specailising in screening applications, diffused aeration and biological treatment.

We developed our Eco-SAF Submerged Aerated Filter in the 1990’s with ongoing development to the present day.

But then Pollution Control is not just about Wastewater Treatment

For just as long as our ‘Groundhog’ Agricultural division has been providing slurry handling and mechanical separation equipment.

Originally developing the ‘Umbilical’ slurry application process with Severn Trent Water in the 1980’s it is now used worldwide. The Groundhog Slurry Separator is now used in other industries including the separation of digestate in Anaerobic Digester projects.

Through our involvement in the wastewater industry we now design and manufacture an extensive range of Settlement Tanks including Lamella Clarifiers for the removal of suspended solids and settleable matter.

The compact lamella plate technology ensures optimum particle settlement in a small footprint. The fields of application for lamella clarifiers cover a vast range of industries. For additional settlement coagulation and flocculation, systems are available.

Through our association with a world renowned Layflat hose manufacturer we have become market leaders in the design of Layflat Hose Handling systems, including both hose reeling systems and hose flaking systems.

As well as our verified divisions, Pollution Control are an established Welding & Fabrication Engineering company. Part of this is providing a component container design, manufacturing and refurbishment service to a Nuclear fuel supplier.
